Velvet Blue is an Indie Rock Band from Los Angeles CA conceived by frontman, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Derek Schanche (Stars Crashing Cars, Señor Happy). The music leans heavily on 60’s and 70’s classic rock, with a 90’s Indie “twist” that makes it current today.
Loud melodic guitars with Derek’s signature dark breathy vocals gives Velvet Blue its original West Coast vibe and sound. It’s described as “driving down the Pacific Coast Highway with eyes wide shut and wind in your hair.”
